TRAVELLING AND ARRIVING

The stereotypes in opening scene of ' Breakfast Club ' were:
- The American jock. Mise en scene --> wearing a typical baseball jacket, dad explaining how he messed about and how it is ok to mess abut during school - indicating that they could be from a working class background. The boy arrived in a SUV family car. Although the dad messed around we could tell he cared for his sons future as he mentioned scholarship.

-  The girl arriving in a BMW car, which could suggest she is from a well off background. Her dad wearing a long coat, shirt and jumper, burberry scarf. Using a bribe of shopping to persuade his daunter to attend the saturday school.

- Average boy who doesn't enjoy school, the relationship between his mum and him, his mum is very persistent and demanding. He's wearing a beanie hat, brown jacket a rucksack. Suggesting they could be from a working class background due to the mannerisms and behaviour

- delinquent boy who chooses to be a rebel. an example of this is when he walks across the road without a care of the cars passing by. The fact that he arrives walking could suggest that he is independent and doesn't depend on his parents to take him to school.
