Evaluation: Question 5
Aspects that appeal to audience members:
Mise en scene :
Jenner bond - Average college clothes ( Jeans, jacket, trainers ) VS Agent spy ware ( Black smart trousers, black jacket, hair in a pony tail ). <<< Younger teens and college students Can relate to the everyday life atmosphere.
Story Line:
James Bonds daughter, Jenner bond has finally reach the stage to begin her training in becoming a top national agent. To complete her course, she has to under go a serious of complicated tasks. The film begins with Jenner in her classroom when she receives a phone call from head office explaining her next mission. This appeals to audience members as it draws their attention to the storyline, and allows room for imagination. Young teens would feel excited about all the missions and feel that they could be like Jenner Bond!
Sound:
We decided to use music that wasn't recognisable. This was because it allowed room for the film to grow, making sure the music suited the themes that were happening in the individual scenes. The music doesn't appeal to our audience members, however the music was conventional for our action based film.
ROUGH COPY
The audience feedback helped us improve on our final version of our film as the comments that were made such as : comments on sound effects how we should add more sounds (E.g. Footsteps for when Jenner was running). The feedback also told us what went well in our rough copy such as the style of music we used.

Screen Shots from final editing
this shows the different layers of sound used and furthermore the loudness of each clip which is scene in the pink dotted line
after layering the sounds getting the right volume for each sound was a very difficult procedure it involved playing with the dotted pink line to meet are requirements.Research we used while filming/editing
Due to are movie "Special Agent Jenna Bond" being a spy movie we looked for similar movies that where also related to the "teen spy" genre. while editing i particularly found the movie "storm breaker" interesting from the opening scene when showing credits they used a blurred out image at the start as an effect to emphasize more on the production companies name. We also attempted to use this same feature within are opening scene.

Reflective Post - Filming
I found the process of filiming Jenner Bond quite interesting, I say this because at first as a group we had clashing ideas, and as usual we squabbled over who was filiming what. After all issues were solved, we got on with our work.
We often filmed outside of our lessons because it gave us more time to film more footage in one period of time, also filming outside of lesson times gave us the atmospheres we needed for the station scene for example with lots of busy people, and the cooridoor scenes where people were often in their lessons which allowed the area to be clear.
To film the different scenes, we all took turns to use the camera so that it was fair, and it didnt fill like one person was doing all the work.
Often the boys wanted to take control of the filming and Meeka and myself helped with the directing and suggestions/ideas.

Reflective post - Editing Part 2
Through editing our peice, we had to make sure that the clips we were using one after eachother were in order and the clips flowed properly together. We had to make sure that the transisitions we used between the different clips looked proffessional and not just like an easy excuse to help get to the next scene.
Sourcing sound effects, I would probally say was the most difficult. When we had to find the small sounds such as doors opening, or footsteps, having to put the music with the clip in the correct places so that they played at appropriate timings.
We used Creative commons to help find the background music for our peice, we used sound peices that wasnt stereotypical and sounds that fitted in with the theme of our film ' Agents '.
we struggled with finding clips because it was easy to want to use youtube sound effects and they were easier to source, but we couldnt due to copy right laws, so it took us longer to find the correct sounds needed for our film.

Reflective Post - Editing Part 1
The editing process
Although I understood what we had to do to edit our film, I wanted to reseach abit more in depth to get a sense of how long of a process it is to edit an actual 2hr long movie.
I didnt realise the editing on a film was what really makes the film what it is, having to use the different camera angles and sound effects to communicate to the audience our intentions.
Editing is a long and time consuming process which takes alot of patience, but is worth it in the end.

Reflective Post - Jenner Bond
I played the character of Jenner Bond, I didnt mind playing main character because I take performing arts as a subject so acting for the camera wasnt an issue for me.
Through the filming process, playing main character sometimes became annoying because it meant i always had to have my costume and be preapred to be filmed, which can be a downfall when your not in the mood to do so, however our film came along nice and the process of making it was fun.
Costume:
For the first section of the film my costume was:
- Light blue jeans
- Black trainers
- Grey jumper
- Accessories
- My hair was tied in a bun
- Black mid/long jacket
This was to convey that my character was an average college students wearing ordinary clothes.
Once I recieved the phone call from HQ my outfit changed. This was to show the audience that Jenner Bond Turns into a different person once she becomes an agent.
For the second section, once Jenner leaves the changing room my costume was:
- Black smart trousers
- Black trainers
- Black bomber jacket
- Grey jumper ( to show continuity )
- Hair in a pony tail

Comparison to other films
Jenner Bond
To begin the process of making our 2minuet opening to a film, we began by brainstorming various ideas. As time moved on we were torn between 2 different ideas; a potential footballer and a kid spy. As we discussed the two ideas we decided to pick the action based film as it was more challenger and would of taken alot of hardwork to pull of a great opening!
Through researching different films we noticed that picking an action film would be hard to communicate to an audience as opeings of other films such as James bond, always start off with an exciting opeing which draws the audience in immediately.
As we know, we are only college students so we wasnt able to have flying helicopters and fancy cars in our opening scenes, unfortunately. However, we diecided to make our film with a target audience of ' teens ' which helped make our jobs much easier.
Jenner bond is the daughter of James Bond. Jenner, is an upcomping agent which helps the incorperation fight battles against there enemies. As Jenner is a college student, she is set small missions to help her pass her training to become a full licensed agent.
We researched different films that incorperated spy's and detective work to come up with a final idea for our film.
We took inspiration from the films ' Spy Kids ' and ' Agent Cody Banks ' which allowed us to create a structure for how we wanted our film to be.
