Teen movies with different audiences

Mean girls is a teen movie starring Lohan as 'Cady Heron', a high school junior who was home-schooled in Africa while her parents worked there as anthropologists. She is therefore the smartest girl in school when her dad is hired by Northwestern and she enrolls in Evanston Township High School.which, like all American high schools in the movies, is physically located in Toronto. What's she's not smart about are the ways cliques work in high school, and how you're categorized and stereotyped by who you hang with and how you dress.

Mean Girls is a drama comedy classified under the term 'Chick Flick' movie primarily targeted  teenage girls.Mean girls main target audience is teenage girls, but it is also a family film as it's genre is drama comedy which could be targeted at a family.

She is quickly befriended by many students at her new high school, but she is intrigued by the mysterious Cullen family. Bella sits next to Edward Cullen in biology class on her first day of school. Edward seemed to be disgusted by her, much to Bella's confusion. A few days later, Bella is nearly struck by a van in the school parking lot. Edward moves from several feet away and stops the vehicle with his hand without any harm to himself or Bella. He later refuses to explain this act to Bella and warns her against befriending him. After much research, Bella eventually discovers that Edward is a vampire, though he only eats animal blood. The pair fall in love.

Twilight is a Romance, fantasy Drama film primarily targeted at teens starting at the age of 12+. The movie is more targeted at females with the controversy of the attractive male characters Edward vs Jacob.
