Stereotypical Characters in Teen Movies

In most teen movies, they use stereotypical characters in order to portray teenage behaviour

and different types of characters.  The characters stereotypical role is often exaggerated deliberetly to put emphasis on the stereotype. In most of the teen movies the general stereotype is the same in order to mock it. They can be shown through a characters body Language,

Behaviour and the way they speak. They can also be represented through costume, music, lighting,

use of props and camera work.

'Not Another Teen Movie' is a prime example of a movie that exaggerates and mocks the stereotypical teen behaviour
